I had the pleasure of photographing Kyle and Susie’s wedding last week, at the Swiss Canadian Mountain Range; located in the forests of Burke Mountain and just past the entrances to the hiking trails at Minnekhada. It was a beautiful, gorgeous, sweltering, sunny day. Thank goodness for all the shade those trees provided!

The newlyweds are currently relaxing on their honeymoon somewhere in Hawaii, but I bet they are dying to see some of the amazing images from their special day. When going through Susie's and Kyle's must have shots, they had decided on a first glance before everything got underway.

I personally love the decision to do photographs before the ceremony. Everyone is fresh, makeup hasn't melted in the heat and hair hasn’t frizzed out, or uncurled in the humidity. This wedding party dazzled in their classic colours, but even more so in their genuine smiles and friendship.
